Who are we?

RiskChallenger is a niche player in the risk management market, with “Communicative Risk Management” as a service and product. Within our 'resilience' department, we serve customers with their safety and continuity issues. Due to the increasing demand for communicative risk management in the (cyber) security sector, there is a need to expand our security team. Our primary markets are mostly organizations working in the vital infrastructure, energy sector, central government, decentralized government, healthcare and/or water management. But other/smaller organizations and assignments also come by.

What are you going to do?

As an Allround Security Consultant, you are responsible for developing, implementing and managing security strategies that cover both cyber and physical threats. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their specific security needs and provide tailored solutions. These can be more short-term (a few weeks) assignments to more long-term projects (1 to 2 years). As a result, your work is always varied and you build up a broad experience.

Your activities consist of...

(but not limited to)

  • Carrying out security audits and risk assessments in both cyber and physical areas;
  • Acting as (sub) project leader in security-related change processes;
  • Developing and implementing security plans and protocols;
  • Advising customers on security best practices;
  • Managing and coordinating security projects from start to finish;
  • Creating training and awareness among customers about security measures;
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and threats in the security sector.

We expect you to...

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in both cyber and/or physical security;
  • HBO level of thinking and working;
  • Have in-depth knowledge of security principles, methods, and technologies;
  • Experienced with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and physical security standards;
  • Have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to act quickly in crisis situations;
  • Have strong communication and advice skills, both orally and in writing;
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative;
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CPP, PSP are a plus;
  • Be willing to travel if necessary.
